The unified authenticity API launches with SOC 2 Type I attestation: a production-ready way to detect, humanize, and verify AI content at scale.

MONTREAL, CANADA, August 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Walter AI (walterwrites.ai) today launched the Walter API Platform, a single API for detecting, humanizing, and verifying AI-generated content. The launch extends Walter's Authenticity Platform to developers, putting the same engine trusted by 2.1 million writers and more than 12,000 educators behind one integration, so any product, workflow, or platform can check what is authentic and refine what is not.

The API Platform brings Walter's tools together under one integration. Developers use a single key, one credit balance, and a consistent request and response format across every endpoint. AI text detection, humanization, and AI image detection are available now, with voice detection, plagiarism checking, and grammar checking on the way. Teams can start with the endpoints they need and add others later with no new integration work.

"Every piece of content now carries a question: did a person really write this, and can they prove it," said Kevin Moore, Founder of Walter AI. "We built the API Platform to be the authenticity layer for the AI era. One integration that lets any team detect AI content, refine it into natural writing, and stand behind what they publish. Shipping it with an independent SOC 2 examination is how we show that layer is built to be trusted, not just useful."

The platform is designed for production workloads. Requests authenticate with a scoped API key, and every service endpoint supports both synchronous and asynchronous processing, with webhook callbacks and polling for longer jobs. Usage draws from a single credit balance, with rate limits and job concurrency that scale by plan.

Alongside the launch, Walter has completed a SOC 2 Type I examination for the Security trust services criterion, conducted by independent auditor Advantage Partners and resulting in an unqualified opinion with no exceptions noted. Walter's privacy practices are aligned to GDPR and CCPA, and the platform includes audit logging and scoped access controls. Full details are available at Walter's Trust Center, and the SOC 2 report can be requested under a non-disclosure agreement. This attestation marks the start of an ongoing security and compliance program.

The Walter API Platform is available today. Developers can create an account, generate a key, and make their first calls free with no credit card required. Usage is credit-based, starting with a free tier and scaling through high-volume and custom enterprise plans. Documentation and code samples are available at docs.walterwrites.ai.
